The Best Maltese Adventure! @mcadventuremt

With only three days to explore Malta, it’s safe to say that our time was ram-packed with fun, fear and adventure, all thanks to ‘MC Adventure’.

I would really recommend booking a private guide, this way you can go at your own pace and the guide can cater to your wants and to your ability! As well as this, you will get a more personal experience. There are so many activities to choose from- Ben and I went climbing, sea level traversing, coasteering and kayaking.

Climbing

After being picked up outside our hotel, by our guide from MC Adventure, we headed for Babu Valley, a well-known location for climbers. After trekking through rubble, rock and cliff edges we found the perfect descend for our abseil- an adrenaline powered walk down a vertical wall of stone.

We then continued our trek to a humongous canyon wall where we spent our time climbing, and climbing, and climbing, until we reached the top! As someone who has only ever climbed in a soft bouldering room, this was an amazing achievement, as well as an amazing experience- one that I could not have done without the support from our guide!

Sea Level Traversing

With wetsuits and climbing shoes on, we hiked down the steepest valley. Despite fearing for my life, I was mesmerised by the incredible view ahead. Once we reached the ocean we began traversing along the lower part of the rock wall, in an attempt to not fall into the chilly sea! After a while of doing this, Ben and I leaped into the clear blue water, enjoying a 20-minute swim and snorkel before it was time to head back to the hotel.

Coasteering & Kayaking

A thrilling traverse along a rocky coastline led us to great spots for cliff jumping. A trip out of our comfort zone; jumping, flipping, swimming and climbing our way to a blue lagoon, where we then picked up our kayaks and paddled for hours in the middle of the ocean. We explored picturesque caves and wonderful landscapes, with the company of our guide, who allowed us to lead the way, making the trip all the more enjoyable!

Aside from the awesome experience that Ben and I had, what made it truly authentic was the feeling that our guide was simply a friend who accompanied us on a crazy adventure, sharing laughs, stories and fun along the way!
